Samsung Galaxy Fold | WHAT THE FOLD!

Samsung Galaxy Fold may be the next Note 7 and if that happens then we will cry, a lot. Review units of the really good-looking folding smartphone have been causing trouble. Reportedly, many of these first units have failed to impress the reviewers with its built. The folding mechanism holds well, but the screen itself gives up and this happened within days of the media guys receiving the unit.
Samsung Galaxy Fold Launch Delayed in China
Samsung had scheduled the launch of the Galaxy Fold in China later this week. However, reports suggest that the smartphone maker has postponed the launch to a later date. In China, Samsung was planning to hold three events, in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Taipei on 23rd, 24th and 25th April, respectively. As per reports, the Korean tech-giant has postponed the Hong Kong and Shanghai event and there is no news about the Taipei event. There is not official statement stating the reasons of the delay.

The officials will definitely deny that the broken review units are the reason behind the launch delays but we can do the math. Take all the time to make the improvements, Samsung!
However, Samsung is positive about their foldable smartphone and will carry of the US and UK launch of the Galaxy Fold on 26th April and 5th May, respectively.
Samsung Galaxy ‘WHAT THE FOLD’
The Galaxy Fold gets a layer of glass to protect the flexi display beneath. Considering it to be a factory film that comes with every other smartphone out of the box, users pull it out. This leads to a broken screen or faulty performance. Some reviews also stated problem with the hinge.
PSA: There's a layer that appears to be a screen protector on the Galaxy Fold's display. It's NOT a screen protector. Do NOT remove it.
I got this far peeling it off before the display spazzed and blacked out. Started over with a replacement. pic.twitter.com/ZhEG2Bqulr

Samsung is the only player who has launched a production spec foldable phone in the market. And it is an expensive device that’s priced around USD 1900. If this product fails and the rescue operation fails with it then it will be another nightmare for the company after the infamous Note 7 fiasco.
